The NCA FIRST Lego Leage team The Flying Geeks are moving onto the state finals this Saturday December 6th at Nashua High School - South. Everyone is encouraged to attend this terrific event.
The Flying Geeks participated in the Qualifying tournament at Daniel Webster College in which they won first place in the Robotic Table Competition category. This accomplishment awarded them the opportunity to compete at the FLL State Competition Saturday.
The Geeks encouraged everyone at NCA to attend the competition on Saturday. If any student who will be in 5th-8th grade at NCA next year that may have an interest in First Lego League coming Saturday will give you a better understanding of the scope of FLL. The doors open at 9:00 and you can see upwards of 50 teams from all over New Hampshire competing on the Robotics Table as well as presenting their research projects.
Many thanks to the whole NCA family for participating in our survey about heating costs. Over 50 families took the time to fill out a form about the cost of heating their houses. If you would like to see the brochure that Rob Goodell prepared which contains the results of our survey along with suggestions for cost-cutting measures the average homeowner can implement click here. flying-geeks-brochure-2008.pdf
And plan to attend the State Competition this Saturday. If you can make it for only part of the day the final Robotic competition starts about 3:00pm.

Save on the cost of an NCA tuition by inviting your friends and church family to share in the NCA experience.
Download and print postcards announcing our spring Information Sessions and Open Houses. Share them, and for each family referred by you that enrolls a child at NCA for 2008-09, you will receive a $500 tuition credit in October, 2008! And yes, this applies to each and every family you refer, so you could earn multiple credits for the coming year!
Early enrollment has passed and NCA is now open to community enrollment, so if we have not heard from you, let us know as soon as possible that your child is returning. We want to be sure to hold his or her place in class! Please remember to enclose your re-registration fee and tuition deposits. Thank you to all who have sent in your re-registrations.
